Core System Conversion at Chattanooga Area Schools Federal Credit Union

A core conversion is underway at your credit union and we're excited for the enhancements and efficiencies it will bring. While most of the updates are not visible to members, the conversion gives us the opportunity to add account enhancements and additional functionalities in 2026, and we'll notify you as they become available.

For the conversion, we will be closed Monday, December 1, 2025. This is following the Thanksgiving holidays of Thursday, November 27, 2025 and Friday, November 28, 2025. In addition, online banking and the mobile app will be unavailable starting at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 27, 2025 until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Following the conversion, your account number will remain the same. Some of the ending suffixes may change, but the account number will be the same. Your online banking and mobile app logins will remain the same and everything will look the same as before.

When will this happen?
The conversion will be complete by the morning of Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Will my account number change?
No, your CASFCU account number will remain the same. Some accounts may have suffix changes, but your core account number will remain the same.

Will my Online Banking or Mobile App access change?
No, your logins will remain the same. However, both online banking and the mobile app will be unavailable from Thursday, November 27, 2025 at 2 pm until Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 2 pm. If you are not enrolled, click here and sign up before Friday, November 21, 2025.

When will the credit union be closed?
We will be closed for the Thanksgiving holidays, as normal, on Thursday, November 27, 2025 and Friday, November 28, 2025. We will be closed an additional day, Monday, December 1, 2025, for the conversion. The office, drive thru, phones, online banking and mobile app will all be unavailable.

Do I need to adjust anything related to payroll deduction or deposits?
No, your account numbers are staying the same, and payroll deduction and other deposits will continue as normal.

If I want to open another account at CASFCU, will I be able to?
Yes! We can open new accounts any time before Wednesday, November 26, 2025 and after Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Will money transfers and checks be available during the conversion?
No account transfers or checks will occur from Thursday, November 27, 2025 through Monday, December 1, 2025. Transfers and withdrawals will be available again on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Will my loan payments have any sort of a delay?
Any deposits received during our closed period will be credited to the appropriate account or loan on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
